A Tree-mendous Display for James Taylor's Year Long Tour

Displayed at James Taylor 2021 tour, we worked with a simple outline drawing from Zac Zangen to design and engineer a tree, made for traveling.

We used true to life examples in order to mimic the natural texture and style found in nature for bark and tree trunks. This fabricated tree was designed to meet outdoor safety requirements using steel to recreate the look of a trunk, limbs and branches. We were even able to recreate the look of slowly forming moss.

In case you’re wondering where this tree will be homed next, James liked the design so much, this fabricated steel project may find a second life in a barn on his property.
