A 'Man of the Woods' Tour and Wooded Set Design

The Man of the Woods Tour was the sixth concert tour launched by Justin Timberlake. Opening on March 13, 2018 in Toronto, the Man of the Woods Tour was the sixth-highest-grossing tour of 2018 and Timberlake's second most successful tour to date.

Czinkota Studio was tasked with creating a life-like backwoods set design for the tour, with plenty of real life inspiration just outside the studio. Each stick, log, spiral grain, and piece of bark for this project was meticulously crafted to match the true genus of each tree it imitated.

Can you tell if the below fabricated items are real or fake? Our goal was to create props as life-like as possible, so that even the VIP and front row fans at the concert would not be able to decipher the difference.

We added char to the campfire piece, complete with imperfect ‘stones’ surrounding the branches. This piece was designed to connect to a fuel source, with a true campfire taking center stage at each concert. The trees that toppled over Justin and his performers completed the scene for the ‘Man of the Woods’ tour.
